Slamet (44), a railway crossing man in Bakin, Jakarta. He started his career in 1985, and in 1996, he officialy became a permanent employee of the Indonesia State Owned Train Company. He receives a salary of 225.700 rupiahs (USD 25) that supports his family (a wife and three children). Despite his average pay and living costs in a big city such as Jakarta, he never regrets his job as a railway crossing man, because being an employee at the Indonesia State owned train Company was one of his dreams. At least he has a retirement fund to look forward to when he is elderly.
