Submissions

You are invited to submit photos, short documentary videos (or multimedia presentations), and written stories (with or without illustrating images).  Please review the purpose first. Only selected work will be published.

  • Photos
    Send single images and photo essays by email (address below). Include your name, a link to your homepage, a brief bio, and a short introduction to the photo or photo essay (well-written stories are welcome as well). Prepare sRGB files with a maximum width of 750 pixels (minimum: 500 pixels). Discreet watermarks are acceptable. Photos essay files should be numbered in order (e.g., 001.jpg, 002.jpg). Provide a list of the titles and captions (optional) in the email.*
  • Video and multimedia presentations
    Send a flash file (or arrange FTP if needed. Alternatively, upload a video to a streaming video site that allows content to be embedded (e.g., Vimeo, YouTube, etc.). Then send a link by email. Include your name, a link to your homepage, a brief statement about yourself, and a short introduction to the work.*
  • Written stories and narrative essays
    Send short stories (non-fiction or fiction) and narrative essays that portray the human condition in a cultural context that you are intimately familiar with. Paste the text into an email or send a PDF, Word file, or text file. Send any pictures or illustrations as separate attachments. Include your name, a link to your homepage, a brief bio, and a short introduction to your work.*
