Great photos and descriptions. I especially like the one with Yoshinobu Nakajima, he seems so joyful! I got here after coming across an article on the burakumin on Wikipedia. I must say that I completely don't understand this discrimination, it seems to me a little like somebody suddenly said that people who usually sneeze twice are to be disrespected. I really think that this hateful social custom should be exchanged for something new, like painting orange suns on busy sidewalks. Really, in this day and age, if you're Japanese and you let your children and friends conjure up such discrimination, you are giving them a life of wasted energy and taking a little of it from the people they will discriminate against. I hope that in a generation this custom will be completely wiped out.

the photos are heart touching.compassion should consider giving pple who are not able to sponser children on monthly basis an opportunity to touch the poor by having an open day where we all bring our support to the children and have fun.
